Who you'll work with

Your past may explain you. It does not have to define you.

What to expect

What we work on in sessions

Together we make sense of what you are feeling now, and of the deeper forces that keep it in place.

A supportive space

Somewhere you can be honest without being rushed or judged.

Practical tools

Skills that hold up when anxiety, stress or a hard week returns.

Deeper insight

We look at the patterns, triggers and stories underneath the symptom.

Collaborative goals

Therapy aligned with what matters to you, not a one-size-fits-all plan.

A steady process

Relief now, and enough structure to change what keeps repeating.

Why it matters

How a psychologist's training differs

"Therapist" can mean many training paths. As a psychologist, the work includes a clear formulation of what is happening, and an evidence-informed plan — not only a place to talk.

That background helps if…

You want more than tips for getting through the week. You are dealing with repeating patterns, old pain, long anxiety, or a story that feels layered. You have tried coping on your own and want work that is structured and clear.

Professional psychological training

You get the warmth of a real conversation with the benefit of psychological training — assessment, a clear plan, and methods that have been tested.

You work with me directly

Every session is with me. Nothing is handed to a trainee or a rotating clinic. This is a personal practice.

Uganda, online and in person

We can meet online from anywhere in Uganda, or in person by arrangement. You are not limited to one office hour in one city.

Getting started

How sessions are arranged

Sessions are typically weekly to start, over a private video call or in person by arrangement. There is no waiting room.

  1. 1

    A first conversation

We start with a short conversation so you can ask questions and feel whether we are a fit. No pressure to continue.

  2. 2

    Your first session

If we move forward, the first full session maps what is bringing you in, relevant history, and what you want to change.

  3. 3

    Weekly sessions

We usually begin weekly — building practical skills and a clearer understanding of what keeps the pattern in place.

  4. 4

    Adjusting over time

As the work settles, we can change the rhythm. The plan belongs to your life, not to a fixed programme.

Common questions

Questions people ask before booking

How do I know if I need therapy, or if I am 'not bad enough'?+

You do not need a crisis to start. Most people are not in crisis. They are managing, and exhausted by the effort it takes, and ready for something more sustainable than getting by.

Are sessions online or in person?+

Both. We can meet online from anywhere in Uganda, or in person by arrangement. Clinically, the work is the same. What changes is convenience.

Is this confidential?+

Yes. What you share stays in the room, unless there is a serious risk of harm. That boundary will be explained clearly at the start.

What if I am not sure which concern applies to me?+

That is normal, and exactly what a first conversation is for. Most people arrive with more than one thing going on.

What if this is an emergency?+

This website is not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or go to the nearest hospital.
